JW Marriott Hotel Macau - Review

The JW Marriott Hotel Macau is located as part of the Galaxy Macau and next to Ritz-Carlton hotel. I stayed here for 2 nights back in December 2015. The stay in this hotel is one of the best experience from the services, the room, the views, and the amenities. I arrived in Macau via Hong Kong with a Cotai jet ferry. There was a free shuttle bus from the ferry to the hotel. The bus pass thru couple hotels located at the Galaxy Macau.

As I entered the hotel, the view of the lobby was fabulous. There are special lane for an elite member. As a platinum elite, there is a special check-in place which is at the executive lounge located on the 3rd floor. I arrived around 11 AM and the room was not available yet. I had expected it based on other guests' review thru TripAdvisor.

While waiting for the room, I could enjoy whatever serve inside the lounge. Jem, the lady who worked at the executive lounge, asked me what drinks I would like to have.  However, since my mom was waiting for me at the first floor, I decided to check-out the food court inside the mall. The mall is connected to the hotel. The food court served lots of food. We spent couple hours inside the mall. When we came back around 2 PM, the hotel was ready for us. The receptionists who helped us were Rhialyn. She was very nice and made the check-in process great. She helped us with whatever we needed and explained all the information we needed such as breakfast, executive lounge hours, etc. She also welcomed me as a platinum member.

One month before my arrival, I checked my Marriott account and there were a hotel reservation with this hotel under different people name for different date before my arrival in Macau. Princess Lat, Guest Service Manager, helped me with the issue and also, upgraded me to a suite room with an extra bed as I came with my mom. I had also requested a birthday cake as I visited Macau to celebrate my mom's birthday and Princess Lat took care of my request. When I checked in, I had been upgraded to a suite like what Princess Lat promised. My room was located at the 31st floor, the highest floor in JW Marriott. All of Ritz-Carlton's room located above 31st Floor.

The room was very spacious and huge with a separate living room and 1.5 bathroom. The main bathroom was huge. The bed was very comfortable. The views from the room was amazing especially during the night time.

There are dessert hours and dinner hours at the executive lounge. The desserts were delicious. I mean very delicious. The dinner food also not bad at all. The services inside the executive lounge was the best. Cliff Hamer, the executive lounge manager, checked on the guest to make sure we had a nice desserts and dinner inside the lounge. Thanks to Jayson, Matthew, Rachelle, Happy, Hailey, and Linda for all of the services.

The breakfast  was amazing and offered lots of delicious food from Asian to Western food. I loved that they served lots of choices in fruits and very fresh.

Overall stay was great and very recommended for other guests and travelers. I rated this hotel 5/5 and one of the best stay. Make sure check Broadway, street food, while staying here.
