Park Hyatt Busan - Review

Park Hyatt Busan (Credit @ Park Hyatt Busan)

Park Hyatt Busan is located at a very strategic place near Haeundae Beach, Gwangalli beach, Gwangan bridge, APEC maru, and Centum City Shopping Mall. The views of surrounding and the building itself are fabulous. The downtown of Busan is a little bit faraway, but with bus, metro, or taxi, everything is easy. As a diamond member, my room was upgraded to a suite back in May 2014.

The lobby is located at 30th Floor. Once we arrived to the hotel, the concierge guy helped us with our luggage and showed us where the elevator was. He opened the elevator door and pressed 30th floor to go to the hotel lobby. There are 6 elevators from the first floor, Three on the front and Three on the back. Three on the front mainly to go to the lobby at 30th floor and cannot have access to the rooms. Three on the back are utilized to access the rooms. On 30th Floor, there is another elevator that is utilized to go to the restaurant only, 30th to 32th Floor.

We checked-in thru the receptionist desk. The woman that serve us was amazing. She welcomed me to the hotel and let me know if I wanted a point or a bottle of wine and I chose a bottle of wine as a complimentary for a diamond member. She let me know that my room was upgraded to a suite and the breakfast will be on 31st Floor thru the elevator located on the 30th Floor. Then, she walked with me to show our room which was located on the 12th Floor. The service was excellent. We went down thru other elevators in 30th Floor that only had access to the rooms. To access the elevator to the rooms, we needed a room key. Inside the room, I was surprise that they had already had an extra bed that I requested.

One thing that I liked the most from this hotel was the bakery at the 1st Floor. The cakes were very delicious. A little bit pricey but the taste was the most important.

The view in front of the hotel

Overall, I loved everything about this hotel. I would rate 5/5 and would recommend people to stay here. There are lots of restaurants nearby. There is a building nearby that have lots of restaurants inside it. The map below shows the location of the building. However, most of the restaurants are closed on Sunday. There is also a Paris baguette, one of the Korean bakery that I like, is in that building. It took me 30 minutes to walk from the hotel to Haeundae beach or you can take a taxi for 6,000 won.
