Itinerary to South Korea

Day 6: Busan

Dongbaek Island (Nurimaru APEC House)

This morning, I woke up early because I planned to walk to Nurimaru APEC house and Haeundae beach by myself. My sister would like to try the buffet breakfast this morning so I let her and my dad to go eat. From Park Hyatt Busan, it only took about 30 minutes to get to Nurimaru APEC house. The running man episode 83 was filming here. The house located inside the Dongbaek Park. There was a trail around the Dongbaek Park.

From Nurimaru APEC house, there was two other places that I would like to see. The suspension bridge and the statue of mermaid. In order to see both of them, I had to walk along the stairs next to the ocean.

Haeundae Beach

After visited both locations, I walked to Haeundae Beach, the most popular beach in South Korea. The amount of visitors during the summer time can reach 300,000 people with approximately 8,000 beach umbrella in place.

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

From Haeundae beach, I walked back to the hotel to pick up my sister and parents to visit Haedong Yonggugngsa Temple. We took a cab to get there. The ahjussi at the cab was very nice. He took us there and willing to wait for us. On the way back to the hotel, he took us on a tour at Dalmaji hill.

Gimhae Domestic Aiport

From Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, we went back to our hotel. We went to a Japanese restaurant nearby to have our lunch. We then picked up our luggage and take a cab to Gimhae International Airport to take a flight to our next destination, Jeju Island. To get a cheap ticket to Jeju Island, I recommend to buy it online earlier since it is cheaper. For 4 people, we paid around 134,000 won.

Our flight was on time leaving at 17:10 and arrived at 18:00. The experience with Air Busan flight was great. It was a short flight and therefore, no complain that I could think of about the flight.
